Redlands Fire Station Field Trip!
Fire in the House! There were a lot of things to see and do at the fire station. First, all the children were given a firehat. We learned that if we catch on fire you should STOP, DROP and ROLL. The fire fighters were very nice and let the children see the station from top to bottom. The children were able to see how some machines work, sit in the drivers seat of the fire engine, hold the hose, see a fire fighter dress up in his firegear and....
shoot water from a real fire hose! It was sooo much fun. Thys and the children loved it and the mom's liked it too. Those firemen aren't too shabby to look at! hee, hee, hee! I think it was a big hit.
