We started the day with my Dad singing Oh Canada, viewing all the lovely Canadian flags down the street and eating yummy buttermilk waffles topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Boy, did those waffle taste good, eh! We dressed in our Canadian colours and T-shirts too, eh. You see red and white is the theme. We hurried to Ramond to watch the parade, eh. We were bored while waiting for it to start... sooo my dad was trying to get me to go to the middle of the street and preform the Highland Fling. Its a Scotish Dance, eh. I told him if he paid me $500. bucks I would gladly put on a show...but he only offered me $5. Not enough for me but Madi heard the offer and decided to take him up on it and she started to dance in the middle of the street. She had a Canadian umbrella hat and Canada shirt on and she preformed her canadian/awesome/hoola Dance. We were very entertained, eh! Grandpa paid up and Madi made $5 bucks.
We saw the RCMP or Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the parade and saw them riding their horses too. It is truly a Canadian thing to see when the RCMP are in sight, eh.
The children loved getting candy thrown at them even a little water too helped us stay cool. We had a fun day, eh.

We miss you guys a ton! Looks like you are having a great time. Gary's holding up, but he really misses you guys. He asked me if he could save us seats at church tomorrow. He said that he needed somebody to sit by. We're all counting down the days until you get back. We loved the canadian pictures. Hope to see more and looking forward to hearing all about your visit.
